Halo is a technology company developing state-of-the-art systems to measure and destroy methane. Our systems are applicable to multiple sources of methane, including effluent, sewage, manufacturing, agriculture, and mining.

Logan Williams, Founder
Logan is a serial entrepreneur & inventor based in Christchurch, New Zealand. To date, Logan has developed & sold four novel inventions, to international corporations. Logan is currently the Executive Chairman of his family office Black Heron Trust, which owns significant equity positions in Shear Edge, Eden Manuka, & Halo.
David Akers, COO
David Akers is a seasoned professional with a multifaceted background in start-up investments, entrepreneurial ventures, and the successful management of large technical programs. With over 30 years of experience in the industry. David has served in many directors role and was part of the successful sale of Green Button to Microsoft. David has been at the forefront of managing large technical programs, showcasing his commitment to driving innovation and efficiency in the rapidly evolving tech landscape.
Dr Jeremy Hill, Industry Advisor
Professor Hill has more than 30 years working in and for the dairy industry, with the vital role dairy plays in human nutrition and the promotion of sustainability in food production among his many interests. He has held many senior research and development roles, as well as developing strategic partnerships between industry and research. With a PhD in biochemistry, Professor Hill is an inventor of several patents, and has published over 100 academic papers and book chapters. He represents Fonterra on the editorial board of the International Journal of Dairy Technology and was appointed a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to the dairy industry and scientific research in 2020.
Warren Bebb, Director
Warren has been in leadership or advisory roles with start-ups for 13 years. From 2012 to 2019 Warren was CEO of BioLumic, the first NZ-based agtech company to raise a Series A from international VCs. While CEO of BioLumic he raised over $10m of capital for the company. Warren started his career with Fletcher Challenge in NZ, Chile and Argentina.

Gil Meron, Investor Director
Gil Meron is the CEO of Sprout Agritech LP. Previously, he managed Yarden Group, an investment and advisory firm, where he deployed >$50M in Israeli agri- and clean-tech companies and advised international investors such as the International Finance Corporation on agritech investments. Prior to that, Gil was a consultant with Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in London and Tel-Aviv and an R&D group manager in IBM’s labs in Israel.
