28toZero Deployment Opportunities
Livestock
Many animals create methane. The 28toZero Reactor technology can be scaled to destroy emissions from individual animals at the source.
Effluent Ponds
Effluent ponds can generate 3% to 9% of the emissions from a typical dairy farm. By capturing and destroying methane at the surface of the pond the 28toZero reactor can reduce on-farm emissions with no impact on farming operations or practice.
Barns & Sheds
Any building containing animals is a potential source of Methane. This includes piggeries, chicken coops, and cattle barns. The 28toZero reactor can destroy the atmospheric methane before it escapes with no impact on animal welfare, diet, or production.
Composting + Landfills
The process of composting organic waste at scale can release large amounts of methane. Many times the scale of composting operations does not permit the capture and use of methane for process heat or electricity generation. The 28toZero reactor provides a cost effect way for composting and landfill operations to reduce emissions.
Oil + Gas
The 28toZero reactor technology can be used to address fugitive emissions from the oil and gas sector both as part of inline processing and by destroying atmospheric methane near to the point of emission.
Mines
Mines can create a large amount of Methane. These emissions can continue long after mining operations have ceased. The 28toZero reactor can be used to reduce atmospheric methane and prevent fugative emissions at both active and retired mine sites.
Waste Water
The methane emissions associated with urban waste water treatment plants can escape. the 28toZero reactor provides a cost effective way for operators to eliminate fugative emissions.
Other industries
There are many other industries that produce fugative methane as byproducts of their production processes that are unable to economically capture or process the emissions. The 28toZero reactor can be deployed to reduce the warming potential of these processes.
Our goal is to destroy 100,000 tonnes of methane by 2030.
